Keykavus Health Centre
In Sivas, this health centre built during 1218-1219 by the Selçuk İzzettin Keykavus
I is the largest of Selçuk hospitals. The hospital and the Keykarus Mausoleum
are famous for their stone engravings and tiles. The tile decorations on the
face of the Mausoleum were made by Marendli Ahmet. The hospital treated eye,
skin and gastroentestinal ailments, and psychiatric problems, and also possessed
a medical school.
