Broad Beans (Fresh Fava Beans)

BROAD BEANS (Fresh Fava Beans) (Bakla)

1 bs broad beans
3 large onions
1/2 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
1 cup water
1/2 bunch fresh dill

Cut both ends of the beans then cut them in half. Chop the onions and spread them on the beans and mix well. Place the bean and onion mixture in a pot and add all the rest of the ingredients, cover and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the beans are well cooked. Serve garnishe with chopped fresh dill, in room temperature.
