TURKISH VEGETARIAN COOKING

VEGETABLE STEWS

FRESH PEAS (Bezelye)

1 1b. fresh peas
12 green onions, chopped
1/2 fresh dill weed or 2 tsps dried dill weed
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp granulated sugar
1/3 cup water

Place all ingredients in a pot. Cook over medium heat until peas are tender. (If frozen peas are used, until onions are cooked).
Serve at room temperature.

Serves 3-4.
