Mugla - Sirtlandagi Nature Reserve

Location: The area is in the village of Meselik, near Milas, in Mugla province.

Transportation: The area is 23 km away from Milas and 25 km away from Bodrum, and is easily accessible from both towns.

Highlights: The most distinctive feature of this area, which covers an area of 760 hectares, is the halep pine which is a rare species in Türkiye. Other species include cluster pine, mastic, oak, wild olive, laurel, spruce and mountain strawberry. Animals inhabiting the area include fox, jackal, wild boar, rabbit, hedgehog, partridge, water hen, and black hen.
